RIBBONS FOR PRINTING ON SYNTHETIC PAPER

IIMAK announces its line of wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons are qualified for printing on Arjobex/Poyart synthetic papers. Tags and labels printed with IIMAK thermal transfer ribbons combined with Arjobex/Polyart synthetic papers maintain scuff and smudge resistance, as well as resistance to water, grease, oil, tearing and a wide range of chemicals.

Polyart is a clay high-density polyethylene material, which provides the durability of plastic with many of the features of paper. Qualified IIMAK wax ribbons include High Mark, Fast Wax, Hard Wax and DC-100. IIMAK’s qualified wax/resin ribbons are Prime Mark, NET Mark, NET Premium, NET Color and R2Prime. IIMAK’s premium resin ribbons, NET Resin, SP-330, DC-330 and DC-400 are also qualified for printing on Polyart synthetic paper.

IIMAK’s thermal transfer ribbons and Arjobex/Poyart synthetic papers perform well in demanding tag and label applications where sharp images and outstanding durability are required. Food labels, luggage tags, horticultural tags, chemical drum labels, wrist bands and bar coded labels are ideal applications for Arjobex/Polyart synthetic papers and IIMAK thermal transfer ribbons.
